Bruce Dalton

Bruce commenced practising Law in 1993 and became a partner in 1999. His principal area of law is personal injuries.

Bruce has been involved with local Rugby Union Clubs and their administration in the Bundaberg region for many years.

Glen commenced practising law in 1995 and became a partner in 2004. Glen is an Accredited Specialist in the area of succession law with his principal areas of practice being estate administration and probate work, succession planning including wills and enduring powers of attorney, Estate disputes, Elder Law, advice to attorneys and advice on any other succession-related issues.

Glen serves on the management committee and is a past president of Community Lifestyle Support Inc. He is also the honorary solicitor for the Australian Red Cross (Bundaberg Branch).

Jason graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Arts from the Queensland University of Technology. In 1999 Jason commenced a two-year Articles of Clerkship in a general legal practice servicing the Ipswich/Lockyer Valley region. During this time Jason obtained experience in a broad range of areas of law including family law, criminal law, succession and conveyancing. Since his admission as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2001, Jason has practised primarily in the area of family law and exclusively in this area since 2004.

Amanda was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2008 after completing her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and her Practice Legal Training with Payne Butler Lang.
 
Amanda worked in a boutique Brisbane law firm for four years obtaining experience in a broad range of succession law areas, including wills, powers of attorney, estate administration, statutory wills and a strong focus on estate litigation. Following a short period practising in wills, estate and family law in regional Victoria, Amanda returned to Payne Butler Lang in 2014 and provides services in elder law, wills and enduring powers of attorney, estate administration, statutory wills, estate litigation. Amanda can also assist clients with applications to QCAT relating to persons who have lost capacity or have a disability.

Amanda has also been a voluntary adjudicator for the Bundaberg West Rotary Club High Schools Debating competition for a number of years. She has been the President of the Bundaberg Law Association since December 2024.

Amy Reinhardt

Amy was admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2020 after completing her Bachelor of Laws (with Distinction) through the University of Southern Queensland, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice through Queensland University of Technology, while also working at Payne Butler Lang.

Prior to admission, Amy spent over 20 years working in law across leasing, residential, agricultural, and commercial conveyancing. Her career has also included experience outside of law, broadening her commercial perspective and ability to work with clients from a variety of industries.

In 2022, Amy joined a boutique law firm in Fortitude Valley where she gained experience across a wide range of commercial transactions involving property, leasing, and development, and also undertook a significant volume of work for not-for-profit organisations.

This combination of work refined her ability to deliver practical, commercially minded outcomes across diverse sectors.

In 2024, Amy and her family returned to Bundaberg, where she rejoined Payne Butler Lang. Her principal areas of practice include business, commercial, conveyancing, and property law.

Amy is actively involved with community organisations that provide support to vulnerable individuals and families in the Bundaberg region.

Jessica started with Payne Butler Lang as a clerk in 2010 whilst finalising her university studies. Shortly after, Jessica progressed into a Trainee Solicitor position practising primarily in the areas of business and commercial, conveyancing, property law and rural property. In December 2015, Jessica was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a lawyer.

Hayley Turner — Bundaberg, QLD — Payne Butler Lang

Hayley graduated with a Bachelor or Laws from Central Queensland University in 2017 and then went on to study her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2018. Hayley was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2019 and as a solicitor of the High Court of Australia in 2025. Hayley has worked in the Property/ Commercial field of law since 2021, before transitioning into Personal Injury and Family Law in 2025.

Hayley has been a member of the Phoenix House management committee since 2023.

Katelyn graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction from Central Queensland University in July 2022. Katelyn commenced employment with Payne Butler Lang in November 2022 and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in November 2023. Katelyn practises primarily in the areas of estate administration and succession planning including wills and enduring powers of attorney.

Stephanie Howell

After completing a semester abroad in 2009, Stephanie made the decision to move to Australia, and began her legal career in 2020 as a legal secretary in Brisbane. By early 2021, she had effortlessly transitioned into an esteemed solicitor and has spent the last few years further developing her knowledge of the law and assisting clients navigate through their legal journeys. Since being admitted into the High Court of Australia in 2024, Stephanie has primarily practiced in areas of law such as conveyancing, business, commercial, leasing, succession planning and property law.

Stephanie has been the acting Secretary of the Bundaberg Law Association since 2024, volunteers at the Isis Golf Club as a coach for young athletes, and actively supports the Northern Districts Rugby Community - Junior League.

Anthony was admitted as a solicitor in 1984 after serving five (5) years as an articled law clerk to Mr V Kootsookos as his practical experience for admission as a solicitor while completing his Bachelor of Laws. He moved to Bundaberg in 1995 and became a partner in charge of our commercial and conveyancing sections. His principal areas of practice include business, commercial, conveyancing, and property law.


➤ Notary Public

Anthony was appointed as a Notary Public on 14 July 2011. In this capacity, he provides Notarial services, which include authenticating and witnessing documents for use internationally. Anthony is the only Notary Public practising in Bundaberg and is a member of both The Society of Notaries Queensland and the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries.


➤ Community Service

Anthony acts as an honorary solicitor for a number of local Bundaberg associations and charities and holds positions on the boards and committees of not-for-profit organisations. The Queensland Law Society appointed Anthony as Senior Counsellor. In this position, he provides advice on ethics and the many difficult and sensitive issues faced by lawyers to fellow legal practitioners in Bundaberg. This work is particularly helpful to junior law practitioners.
